Yes, Nancy. I've been checking it every day since I started actually training. You and Ellie are, as Chuck would say, "making out like ... like a couple of skumperdumpers."
I also made note of the fact that the Memory Ride event as a whole passed the $20,000 mark on Thursday morning. So, props to Team Charlie for gettin' it done and making it happen and sharing the love. Now I'm gonna send the letter I've composed to all my friends, colleagues and comrades and see if that will garner some more support for this effort.
Now that I've taken care of my shameful status as the only $0 team member, can we start picking on Hootie, Sarah and Polly for not having broken the century mark yet? Or would that be just plain mean?
You guys are mean. Actually, will some of you send me copies of the emails you sent out to your friends and colleagues? Now that I have a bike & am riding, I feel better about sending an appeal.
And then I won't look so pathetic compared to "y'all."
